There are many factors that make us unique.  Our prices are far below those of retail florists, our guarantee and we will NOT book more than one event on any given day!  That means, we put our full effort and concentration where it should be....on YOU!

I have been doing floral design for 20 years now, a talent I had no idea I possessed.  It came from wanting to create a gift basket for a friend who had their first baby, and I ended up with a small but very cute gift.  From that I started to create baskets for wedding gifts, as well.  The flowers came in from adding floral pieces to the baskets in the wedding colors.  And from there, it grew to floral design, although I do still make some very unique gift baskets.

I've gone from simply doing a few designs for family and friends to creating Heavenly Inspirations.  I've had Heavenly Inspirations for about 8 years now, and in the past 2 or 3 years, I've really put a lot into it.

Keeping it as a home based business I believe allows me to focus more on my clients than on the business aspect.  Floral design is so much more than putting some flowers together, it's about people, and family, and occasions, and memories.  I put a lot of care and attention into everything I do, just as if I was making it for a dear friend.

The name Heavenly Inspirations was born out of our love for a wonderful, beautiful person, my great-grandmother, Norah.  After her passing, I was designing her flowers for her grave site.  Usually this is a very long drawn out process, because like most creative people, I am a perfectionist and will re-do a piece several times before I am satisfied.  On this particular one though, I didn't do that.  Didn't really even think too much about what I was doing.  After almost completing the saddle, I asked my daughter, who was 10 at the time, what she thought since she had such a close bond with Nanny.  Her reaction proved that I had done it justice when she startd to cry and told me not to change a thing.  After a few minutes she again looked at the flowers and then told me that my hands were guided.  And from that one small sentence, Heavenly Inspirations and my 'theme' color (purple was Nanny's favorite color) was born.
